Wanderlust and jet-setting aren’t terms reserved just for straight people anymore. Relaxed politics and acceptance have opened the world to the LGBTQ+ community. It’s not perfect but it’s progress, and the more stamps we get on our passports the better. Below are some queer travel influencers who are paving the way for others to travel the world with peace of mind and in some cases, looking fabulous.

Eliad Cohen

Eliad Cohen is a travel influencer you won’t soon forget once you look at him. He’s a massive man with arms that look like they were made from rebar and chest so big he can barely put them down to his sides. He is a part of the LGBTQ+ tourism industry. Oh, and by the way he’s also a DJ. The former seems to be his bread and butter but he’s also the co-founder of “Gay-ville,” a company in Tel Aviv that caters to LGBTQ+ tourists.

Amir Morris

“I travel the world to experience different cultures and work pride events globally. I’m passionate about men’s sexual health, relationships, and mental health.” That’s Amir Morris’ introduction on his website .  He’s a triple threat: travel, gay and fashion. He’s figuratively in the dictionary next to the word “jet-setter.” When you pull up his Instagram page there is no filler. All his pictures are vibrant and focused. But be careful, jealousy might ensue after you compare what he does for a living next to what you do.

Nomadic Boys

Open any gay travel news site and you’ll probably find The Nomadic Boys ((Stefan Arestis & Sebastien Chaneac) with another detailed travel blog. The couple is serious about what they do, and they look good doing it. What’s nice about The Nomadic Boys is their travels are couple oriented which allows potential jetsetters a heads-up before they pack their bags. Even better, they take pictures of their destinations allowing fans to see them having fun while also previewing the setting.

Owin Pierson

Owin Pierson is described as a “Queer Asian-American full-time content creator and mental health advocate.” He also travels, and if you subscribe to his Instagram, you will see fun pictures and videos of where he’s been. For gay people traveling to Asia, he’s a great resource to have in your arsenal of content creating travel advisors. In addition, he seems like a down-to-earth kind of guy and every experience is just another casual day in the life of a wanderlustful influencer.

Roxanne Weijer

Adventure, travel and everything queer? You might want to check out Roxanne Weijer, a lesbian traveler who’s never far from an airport or a camera to document all her fun journeys. With her Pride flag unfurled and a pep in her step, Roxanne is gathering no moss. We dare you to glance through her Instagram and not feel inspired. Furthermore, her LGBTQ+ spirit is so infectious you’ll think her whole life is a Pride parade.

Brian Kelly

Brian Kelly is known as “The Points Guy,” a title derived from his advice on how to use airline rewards on credit cards to travel the world; it’s an important skill to have in this economy. Kelly helps everyone save a few dollars, but as a part of the LGBTQ+ he wants to be himself. He is a single father of two and wants to feel safe with everyone around him. He’s said , “As an out gay man, it's important for me to live in a community I feel comfortable and I don't need to hide who I am.”

Nikita Dragun

More of a beauty influencer than a travel one, Nikita Dragun still goes to some stunning places around the world, and as a trans woman that can be a little dangerous. However, you can’t tell that by her social media feed which is filled with gorgeous shots of her in some of the most stunning places in the world.  She is stunning herself, so much so she tried to convince Victoria’s Secret that trans women should be allowed to model for the lingerie company. And guess what? She convinced them.

In the heart of conservative Texas, Austin is emerging as an unexpectedly vibrant hub for LGBTQ+ travelers, blending progressive vibes with live music, affordability, and integrated queer scenes that defy state stereotypes.

Picture this: you're in Texas, land of cowboy boots and big skies, yet suddenly surrounded by rainbow flags fluttering from food trucks, drag brunches packed with locals, and queer-owned distilleries pouring craft cocktails. Austin, the self-proclaimed "Live Music Capital of the World, "is having a full-on queer glow-up, transforming into one of North America's most surprising LGBTQ+ hotspots. While the state grapples with uneven protections, this city pulses with inclusive energy that has travelers whispering, "Wait, this town is queer now? !"

There’s no place better to strip away the daily grind, let the sunshine in, and experience a cheerful sense of rebirth than the clothing optional men’s resorts of Palm Springs Preferred Small Hotels.

As I stepped into the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center, the first thing that greeted me was my reflection framed by the words “See History Be History.” It felt like both a welcome and an invitation.

As I stepped into the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center, the first thing that greeted me was my reflection framed by the words “See History Be History.” It felt like both a welcome and an invitation. As part of the Wall of Solidarity—a lively exhibit celebrating love, community, and queer joy—the frame establishes the mood for what comes next. It’s not just a space to learn about history, but a place where you feel yourself become part of it.
